Taking over the former Max space from the short-lived Galo Nero is Serenata, now serving food and drink from a table set up on the loading dock.

TOKYO BAY IS BACK
Tokyo Bay, the neighborhood staple that has been on Duane Park for 18 years, is now open for takeout and delivery with the usual menu.

GRAND BANKS IS OPEN ON PIER 25
The schooner docked at the end of Pier 25 will be serving up lobster rolls, oysters, virgin cocktails and desserts.

WARREN STREET PAVING TO START THIS WEEK
After more than three years, the city is preparing to do the final paving of Warren Street from Greenwich to Broadway next week.

NINGBO APPEARS CLOSED FOR GOOD
The Battery Park City outpost of one of the city’s most venerated Chinese chefs — Wellman Wu of Peking Duck House — has all the signs of a shuttered business.

CITY LIGHTS UP GREEN TO HONOR PARKIES
The city is lighting up its monuments and buildings tonight in honor of park workers who have been essential workers for these past two months. They all deserve it.
