So much for curfew downtown

The neighborhood was anything but quiet last night at 8, as curfew was supposed to start, as protestors headed across Chambers and down the highway with police following them on bikes and cars. They then doubled back, heading across Murray to Broadway, where they dispersed or headed north from there. Thanks to C. and J. for the bird’s eye views, and Robert Ripps for the late-night shots.

Neighbors came out to the sidewalk to watch, lots honked horns from parked cars, and some folks got out on fire escapes to bang pots and cheer as protestors went by.

  1. We have NO leadership at any level.

This is absurd, the message has been greatly distorted and as a local Im tired of it. It’s time to stop.
