Valley Tribeca is closing permanently

Valley Tribeca, the women’s clothing boutique on Greenwich and Beach, has decided to close permanently after seven years. Opened by locals Kimmy Carton and Jackie Brookstein in 2013, the shop was fun, approachable and refreshing. It’s a loss.

“It was very difficult decision,” said Jackie, “but it made the most sense between the shutdown and rent. It’s definitely going to be a tough recovery in the city.”

The store’s last day online will be July 9. Here’s their note to customers:

“We hope you are all safe and healthy during these extraordinary times. The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a huge toll on all of our lives. With that being said, between the lengthy forced government shutdown & much deliberation about our recovery, we have made the tough decision to permanently close our doors. This was a very difficult choice, but a necessary one, given the significant impact the pandemic has had on small independent businesses like ours. The past 7 years have been very special and we would like to thank you for all of your loyalty and support. Much Love! Kimmy & Jackie”
