Seen & Heard: Mulberry & Vine is back open

WELCOME BACK – AGAIN – TO MULBERRY & VINE
Mulberry & Vine is back open on Warren (between West Broadway and Greenwich) and hopefully here for good after a shaky reopening earlier this spring. Hours are noon to 8p, Monday to Friday.

FIVE & DIME BACK SERVING
My (very young) neighbors have been making a Sunday trip for croissants at Five & Dime throughout the pandemic — and I didn’t even realize they were open. Giving the restaurant a shout out now, especially since the kitchen is now operating and they have benches and tables outside. Of course there are cocktails as well. They also have some staples like milk and eggs in the fridge. Hours are 8a to 8p weekdays; 8a to 4p weekends.

TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL — IN THE BRONX
If you are wondering where the film festival is these days, it’s showing as a drive-in at Orchard Beach. And it looks awesome. Screenings are Thursday through Sundays at 8:30 through August 2 and include contemporary classics like “Do the Right Thing,” “Superbad” and “The Dark Knight.” See more info here.

  1. We’ve been going to Five & Dime for a happy hour drink weekly for a bit now! They have an amazing Aperol Spritz and such a nice area out front to enjoy.
