Seen & Heard: Jungsik getting serious

JUNGSIK GOES HARDCORE ON THE STREET
These promise to be the coziest places in town, and after that cold snap, it really put outdoor dining in winter into better focus.

IT’S CHRISTMAS ON MURRAY STREET
For some, I guess Christmas can’t come soon enough. C. caught what I think has to be the season’s first Christmas conifer delivery on Murray. (This has nothing to do with nothing, but you know where I haven’t been in ages? The conifer arboretum at the NYBG. Makes a great holiday field trip. Will have to cue that up.)

FOUR SEASONS WILL OPEN NOV. 30
The hotel has been closed for eight months, but will open again on Nov. 30. CUT, Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant in the lobby, is already open Tuesday through Saturday, 5 to 10p.

ENCORE AT GRAND BANKS
Even though their season has officially over, with the 60-degree weather promised for this weekend Grand Banks will be open again for Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a limited postseason menu but one that still includes oysters and lobster rolls.

OPEN HOUSE AT PINE STREET SCHOOL
Pine Street School will host a virtual open house tonight starting at 5:30p till 7p. They will be answering questions about the International Baccalaureate program, the new middle school curriculum, and the dual language immersion approach in Spanish and Mandarin. Register here.
