The Otte store here has closed permanently

Otte, the women’s clothing store on N. Moore that opened here at least a decade ago — maybe more — has closed this location permanently. (I am playing catchup here since they in fact never opened after the shutdown this spring.)

Founder Kay Lee opened the local chain in Williamsburg in 1999. (For the record, it is pronounced “awt.”) Her flagship in the West Village at 121 Greenwich Ave. is still open.

Lee got her training in fashion at Parsons and has made a career out of her eye for discovering emerging designers. She also curates items from her travels in Marrakesh and Paris.
