In the News: Food hall coming to 100 Pearl

FOOD HALL COMING TO 100 PEARL
Eater reports that Urbanspace will open its sixth food hall in the city at 100 Pearl, which is at the end of William and goes through to Water. And Luis Vazquez explains how it came to be on his Fidi Fan Page: “When Guardian Insurance decided to move uptown, it allowed the building they occupied for decades, 7 Hanover Square, to be completely gutted, renovated and expanded into a virtually new building for a new FiDi! It has also been rebranded to 100 Pearl Street. The nearly 1MM sf building will be completed later this year and most of it has already been pre-leased. Even more exciting is that the base will be reconfigured into a brand new Market Hall for food vendors.”

SCRAMBLING FOR THE VACCINE

A few people have asked about the follow up; it is my advice from following comments here and personal experience to make sure you don’t leave your vaccine appointment without a date and time for the booster.

BOOK NOOK TO OPEN THIRD LOCATION
Book Nook, the reading and learning center for kids, will open a second Upper West Side location in March on West 59th Street. They already have another location at West 81st and our own on Warren. (That’s Andy and Rina Collins’ son, Rian, taking care of business below.)
