BILLY’S IS BACK
B. (and no, not Billy herself) wrote to say that Billy’s Bakery is back open. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 11a to 5p. There are not many days when I don’t think about their banana pudding with Nilla wafers… Plus they have some cookie decorating kits and cookie sandwich making kits to go.
GROUNDHOG DAY DO-OVER
The storm put off Tuesday’s plan for Groundhog Day at Duane Park till today. There will be ice sculpting and hot refreshments offered from 4 to 6 today instead.

MAYORAL CANDIDATES FORUM ON SUNDAY
The downtown Democratic clubs will co-host an online forum for the mayoral candidates on Sunday at 2p. RSVP here. Each candidate will have 20 minutes to introduce themselves and respond to audience questions. We will limit questions to 45 seconds and answers to 2 minutes. Questions will be taken from the audience in the order of the raised virtual hands, giving as many different people an opportunity as possible. As a courtesy, we ask people asking a question to have their camera on, if possible. Candidates will be appearing in the following order: Eric Adams, Art Chang, Maya Wiley, Shaun Donovan, Ray McGuire, Andrew Yang, Dianne Morales, Scott Stringer, Kathryn Garcia, Carlos Menchaca, Loree Sutton.
