Seen & Heard: Wolfgang’s curbside upgrade

WOLFGANG’S TAKING IT UP A NOTCH
The restaurant seems to be adding private rooms to its curbside structure on Greenwich and Hubert, and they are looking deluxe. And who doesn’t love the smell of fresh cut lumber?

RESCUED BIRD NEEDS NEW DIGS
A while back I had a post about an abandoned cockatiel, saved by Polly Brandmeyer and her daughter, India, and while it seemed to be love at first sight, things did not exactly work out. India posted this comment a couple days ago, and I am rerunning in case there are some bird lovers out there: “Can someone take this bird back please? He bites and he is very mean to me. I love him so much but he is definitely not the type of bird that is meant for a family or meant to be a pet.”

ACTION AT YVES??
The restaurant is temporarily closed, but they were working on the curbside accommodations this week.

LOVE AT 100 FRANKLIN
There’s a quirky display in the new storefront windows of 100 Franklin along 6th Avenue. The Ki Smith Gallery is on E. 4th Street, and represents young artists who have “distinct methods of expression and thought…they do not simply paint or sculpt or photograph. They find unexplored ways to communicate their ideas.”

  1. Wondering if there is any sort of update on DDG coming through and establishing the park in the triangle between Church, 6th Ave and White St.
