Live from over Tribeca

Missing live music? (Yes.) Silverstein Properties has been allowing musicians to use empty floors of 3 WTC to perform concerts for a small crowd of 20. The sessions are called PandemusicNYC at WTC and they have done three so far, live streamed from the 79th Floor. They are a great listen and/or watch. Even the trailer is fun. To date: Endea Owens (above), Brent Carter & Friends and TASH (below).

It’s like the opposite of a Tiny Desk.

Pandemusic — compressed from pandemic music — was founded by Williamsburg musician Josue Caceres, who was watching as his peers were leaving the city during the quarantine while all the venues were closed. He cooked up the scheme to livestream shows, raised $60k to pay the artists and hosts the events on either his roof or Larry Silverstein’s place. The concerts are free to watch on YouTube live. There are three more coming up from Brooklyn; email josuecaceres@pandemusic.tv for tickets. You can also support here.
