Seen & Heard: Sant Ambroeus ice cream stand

GELATERIA FOR SOHO FROM SANT AMBROUES
Sant Ambroeus, which just opened its latest outpost in Brookfield, has also opened a “curated interpretation” of an Italian gelateria — aka ice cream shop — along with a coffee bar and cioccolateria in Soho at 267 Lafayette at Prince. (I still miss the one that was on the ground floor in Brookfield.) There are 16 flavors of gelato and sorbet — including nocciola, pistacchio and stracciatella — all made on site, as well as vegan options. Sunday through Thursday, 11a – 9p; Friday and Saturday, 11a – 10p. More TK when I can wander up there.

ADAM LIPPES OPENS AT BROOKFIELD
Luxury lifestyle brand Adam Lippes opened in Brookfield last week (that’s him with his president, Jeannie Yoo). The space is designed to feel much like his living room, with dusty pink walls, a rotating selection of antique objects and furniture, custom wicker and upholstery pieces, and a library. There’s also ready-to-wear and a recently launched jewelry line.

ROLLER RABBIT CLOSED TEMPORARILY
Roller Rabbit, on the south side of Duane Park, has closed this location temporarily — which is a bummer since this is my go-to Easter spot (along with Balloon Saloon). You can still shop online or at 74th and Lex.

  1. Hi, the Roller Rabbit store is currently closed as we are using it as our corporate office. We are open as able by appointment however or alternatively, as you point out, someone can visit our Upper East Side store or on the web at http://www.rollerrabbit.com.

In what is very exciting news, we are currently open in TriBeCa through the weekend bringing back our annual Sample Sale! Limited traffic to keep people safe, but PJs, bedding, Easter gifts, etc. all on sale, so now is the chance to load up!

    Thank you
