The Craft Studio is looking for new space

The Craft Studio, which opened as a pop-up on the south side of Duane across from the park in early 2018, has left that space but is looking for a new one in the neighborhood. (Thanks to B. and A. for the heads up.)

The business was founded in 1994 on the UES and current owner Lindsey Peers bought it in 2009. “We did have to move, but we are actively looking for a new location and plan to re open. And in the meantime are running outdoor public and private classes, parties, and workshops!” Lindsey said in a note. They also sell craft kits, which they started creating in earnest during the pandemic.

The space, in case you want to look back, was once Mondo Cane, which became Patrick Parrish and is now at 50 Lispenard.
