Seen & Heard: Go Cards!

GO CARDS!
Have to give a shoutout to my team: the Junior Minor 7 Cardinals playing for Downtown Little League. Thanks to B. for the snap of her son in the dugout. More when I can get to a game and relive my own children’s youth…

WAITING ON CHANSON
The folks at Patisserie Chanson, who have taken over the Maison Kayser space, said they are now looking at an end-of-summer opening.

COVID TESTING ON HUDSON
N. spotted a pop-up testing site in the old Subway space (though after that it was also a skincare salon) on Hudson and Beach. CareCube mostly has Brooklyn locations but here it’s at 137 Hudson.

PARM IS CLOSED
The Battery Park City location of Parm is definitely closed — though whether that is for good for sure I can’t find out — they don’t reply to email and the gal at the Mulberry Street location didn’t know. They are open at three other locations: Columbus and 70th; Brooklyn on Atlantic; and they just opened a new restaurant at Woodbury Commons in Central Valley.

BUT PJ CLARKE’S IS BACK OPEN…
ICYMI, PJ Clarke’s, which has that prominent corner on the north side of the North Cove Marina at Brookfield, reopened in April for indoor and outdoor dining.

  1. Thank you for sponsoring our team, Pam! We appreciate your support!

  2. PJ Clarkes seems to have a strange schedule. They’re not always open, even during dinner time. Any more info on that, Pam?

    • I don’t — they don’t offer any way to contact them other than calling the restaurant, which is never a reliable option.

  3. Thanks for all the updates and happenings Pam. It is most appreciated.
