Seen & Heard: Music nights are back on at Duane Park

MUSIC IN DUANE PARK
The Friends of Duane Park will be hosting their semi-monthly Thursday music nights in the park again this season, starting tomorrow, June 10, with the Blicker Blues Band. Mark the calendar for the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, 6:30 to 8. Next up: June 24 with Jesse Adelson & Friends.

COLOMBIAN CLOTHING & DECOR THIS WEEKEND ONLY
Tribecan (and Colombian native) Gina Barac-Bauer is hosting a pop-up shop of Colombian artisan products at 5 Harrison this weekend, Thursday through Sunday, from 10a to 6p at 5 Harrison, on the corner of Staple Street. She will have more than 20 crafts people represented — small Colombian brands with high quality swimwear and summer clothing for both men and women as well as jewelry and homemade decor. Her passion project, as she calls it, is Helecho Collective, and her goods come from several regions across the country.

OPENING NIGHT TONIGHT, OUTDOORS
The screen is up for the Tribeca Film Festival’s opening night at The Battery (and at the other outdoor locations around the city, including Brookfield and Pier 76 in Hudson River Park). Thanks to K. for the pic of the crew setting things up.

PRIDE AT BROOKFIELD
Brookfield has a few photo-op installations set up for Pride, including this in the Winter Garden.
