Seen & Heard: Concert tonight at Pier 26

CONCERT TONIGHT ON PIER 26
Hudson River Park will host Alsarah and the Nubatones — fronted by a Sudanese American songwriter and bandleader and self-proclaimed practitioner of East-African retro-pop music — on Pier 26 tonight, July 21, at 7p. The performance is weather dependent so follow Twitter for cancellation notices.

LILAC OPENS ON SATURDAY
The lightship Lilac, which is docked at Pier 25, re-opens this Saturday, July 24, from 2 to 6p. The ship will be open those same hours every weekend through mid-October. New interpretation has been added next to each doorway to explain what visitors are seeing. Reservations are required to come aboard, but you can also scan the QR code at the pier to see if you can enter right then.

SOUND BATH RESCHEDULED FOR ROCKEFELLER 
The sound bath scheduled for last weekend was rescheduled for weather. The new date is this Saturday, July 24, 7-8p, on the north side of the Rockefeller lawn at the end of Chambers. See more info here and register here.
