TAMID OPENS IN WESTCHESTER
Tamid, the downtown synagogue that was founded here in 2012, has opened another synagogue in Westchester, with its gathering space in New Rochelle. 555 GREENWICH BREAKS GROUND
This is a bit far afield but if this is your bike route, or if you use Pier 40 a lot, I thought this would satisfy curiosity: Hudson Square Properties (which is Trinity Wall Street, Norges Bank and Hines as operating partner) broke ground on 555 Greenwich, a 270,000-square-foot, 16-story office tower taking up just about all of the block between Hudson and Greenwich, King and Charlton. COOKFOX are the architects.

MO’ BETTER BLUES ON GOV ISLAND
Governors Island will host an outdoor screening of Spike Lee’s Mo’ Better Blues on Friday, August 6.
