Community Board 1 agendas for August

This is a light month for the community board, so it’s a good time for some housekeeping:

With the state reopened, the state Open Meetings Law is back in effect for in person meetings, so community board members, applicants and public members are required to attend in person. The public is encouraged to use WebEx via due to acute capacity constraints.

The last month of hybrid meetings went smoothly and since there is considerable concern about the Delta variant, the board will continue to make safety improvements for our in-person attendees and our remote guests. CB 1 recently invested in some new camera and microphone equipment to make the remote experience better than ever.

This is a preliminary list; check the agenda page on our website at for any changes.

CB 1 records all meetings and posts them to YouTube for unlimited public access.

  1. The Sam Miller posting on 363 Greenwich is on the old Tribeca Tap House next to Benvenuto, which has been vacant for a long time, not American Cut.

There’s also a liquor license posting on the old Dig Inn on Greenwich/Laight for “L’Abeille,” but that isn’t listed on the agenda for some reason.

  2. Duh, right.
