In the News: Another arrest at Taylor’s house

MAKING HIMSELF AT HOME
B. wrote last week to say she saw a man getting arrested in front of Taylor Swift’s Franklin Street townhouse on Friday, and sure enough, here it is — another obsessed fan who wants to sleep over. How is it she cannot keep people out of that house? I mean, are the doors unlocked? This guy — a 28-year-old from Nebraska who is in love with her — was found in the vestibule. The Daily News has the story. “’I was doing what felt comfortable,’ Patrick Nissen, 28, said early Saturday as he left Manhattan Criminal Court after pleading guilty to a violation-level charge of disorderly conduct.” He was sentenced to community service.

DE NIRO ON THE MEND
Page Six reports that Robert De Niro is up and about and walking around the neighborhood without a brace after he injured his leg while in Oklahoma to shoot Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon” earlier this year.

APPROACHABLE WINES AT 1 WHITE
Wine Spectator features 1 White Street with an interview with the restaurant’s wine director Audrey Frick. “Frick (previously of Tavernetta in Denver) built a wine list of 200-plus selections that’s available throughout the space, aiming for accessibility at all price points and styles. ‘It’s not a tome; this isn’t Eleven Madison Park,’ said Frick, referring to the Grand Award winner’s 5,000-label list. ‘But I’ve taken a lot of time and focus to make sure that everyone can find something that’s wonderful for them.'”

BROOKFIELD AS LITTLE MILAN
Town and Country has a story on the (newly opened) restaurant side of Sant Ambroeus at Brookfield. I have yet to go back since I checked out the coffee bar side. “Classic Italian dishes with an emphasis on Milanese cuisine. A section of the menu is dedicated to pasta, featuring signature dishes such as Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe and Fettuccine alla Bolognese.”

  1. Tons of police all around Franklin this afternoon. Maybe the Taylor stalker is why.

  2. I feel for the other residents of Taylor’s building. It’s not fair to them and scary that it keeps happening.

  3. She doesn’t own the whole building (155)..She owns the townhouse at 153..the two PH at 155 (one for her and one for the live in bodyguards) – She bought the 2nd Floor as well because people suspect she’s been able to use it to directly access the townhouse. Yes, it’s been a nightmare for the residents. Soderbergh & Orlando Bloom were smart to have sold their apts shortly after she bought.
