  1. Regarding the Augustine space, I’m 99% sure that I have incredible news. I posted about it last week on FiDi Fan Page.. The applicant for the Augustine space is Dinex. Who is Dinex? It is the holding company for all of Daniel Boulud’s restaurants! YES, FiDi is getting Daniel Boulud’s newest fine dining restaurant. Stay tuned for more info, but I knew that this space would not stay empty long.

    • Ok Sherlock Holmes, I can tell you 100% it Daniel. And a year plus is a long time for that space to sit empty. The Beekman should have never let that go.

  2. 100 Church Street is for the Nexus Club, they have a space downstairs. I stopped by NY Vintners tonight during their very very soft opening, it’s going to be amazing!

  3. 133 Greenwich is the closed Marriot. It’s interesting they are applying for a liquor license. Are they opening again?

  4. I believe that I read that the Marriott at 133 Greenwich is reopening and the Hyatt Andaz at 75 Wall has set a date of October 1st for its grand reopening. This is in addition to 6 other hotels that will be opening for the first time elsewhere in FiDi. The press reports on the closures, but rarely mentions the brand new ones, which is so frustrating. They induce the FiDi Hotel on Stone Street, the Wall Street Hotel at 88 Wall, the Hotel Indigo on Water, the Aloft on Rector and the Courtyard by Marriott and the Residence Inn (both on Pearl). It’s just a matter of time before another hotel takes over the W spot.
