The Storm Surge Working Group will host a lecture and boat tour to discuss the threats of flooding with experts in science, engineering, urban planning and architecture, with opening remarks from Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, on Thursday, Oct. 28, 9:30a till 12:30p aboard the Classic Harbor Line Manhattan II, leaving from Pier 62 in Chelsea. TOUR BPC RESIENCY PLANS ON FOOT
The Battery Park City Authority is running two “walkshops” that will explain their plans for resiliency. Four 1-hour walking sessions are planned for both Thursday, Oct. 28, and Thursday, Nov. 4, — it’s the same on both dates — and each hour will focus on a specific location in the project area. Register here. Once you click through on the date, it will give you the choice of four routes: Tribeca, Rockefeller, North Cove and South Cove. The rain dates will be the following Fridays.

TWO SHOWS THIS COMING MONTH AT SOHO REP.
Soho Rep. will run “while you were partying,” a story created by Writer Director Lab alumni Peter Mills Weiss and Julia Mounsey with Brian Fiddyment and running from Nov. 3 to 28. Book tickets here.

And on Nov. 15, the theater will host its first ever comedy night with five comedians – Francesca D’Uva, Benny Feldman, Ruby McCollister, Bardia Salimi and Ike Ufomadu. Tickets for that are here.

ACTOR’S STUDIO PERFORMANCES RETURN TO PACE
Pace University’s Actors Studio Drama School Master of Fine Arts Program has launched its Repertory Season featuring the acting, directing and playwriting class of 2020 with five consecutive weeks of live performances.
