Longtime Tribecan Robby Ameen will once again host his weekly jazz salons at Philip Williams Posters at its south entrance at 52 Warren — this time every Thursday for the month of December. Admission is $20, $10 students with complimentary wine. Proof of vaccine required. The NYC Jazz Record reviewed the show last time, saying it “hearkens back to the ‘70s Loft scene.” With Ameen, longtime colleagues from the world of Latin jazz: Bob Franceschini (saxophones), Edsel Gomez (Fender Rhodes electric piano) and Lincoln Goines (acoustic bass). CALLING ALL LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS
The Tribeca Pandemic Recovery Task Force started last year by New York Law School is asking local businesses to fill out a Business Needs Assessment survey as they continue to recover from the economic impacts of the pandemic. It’s quick — should only take about 5 minutes — and it asks businesses to report on the economic impacts of the pandemic, government assistance needs, employee retention challenges, and the desire for coordinated neighborhood marketing.

District Council 37, which has the building that looks like a bank at 115 Chambers, did a gut reno of the whole building and will reopen it today as a much modernized 30-seat dental center.

FAIG AHMED AT SAPAR CONTEMPORARY
Sapar Contemporary announces Faig Ahmed: PIR , the gallery’s second solo exhibition of work by Azerbaijani artist Faig Ahmed. The exhibition features three large scale new textile works as well as a video work by the artist. The three large carpet works in the exhibitions are titled after poets and spiritual masters whose works had a great influence in the cultural history of Azerbaijan. Open till Feb. 6 at 9 N.
