It seems there’s a rash of new storefronts coming about to come alive. Exciting. Here are some details to tide you over till they are officially News Kids on the Block.

COMING SOON ON READE
Greenwich St. Jewelers, which has been in Fidi for 45 years, is moving to 93 Reade — something which I think has been in the works since 2018 when they took a 15-year lease there, if my records are correct. More info TK when I get in touch with them. Thanks to N. for the shot.

AND ANOTHER…
N. also caught this one — for VietPho, in the old Oxe Verde space next to Tre Sorelle. This would be right around the corner from Vietspot, which closed in May 2020. (I am pretty sure they are still open in Fidi.)

ANTIQUE GARAGE IS BACK OPEN IN TRIBECA
Their southern outlet — the other Antique Garage is in Soho on Mercer at Grand — just reopened, Wednesday through Saturday dinner starting at 5p for now, and will likely go five days in the new year. Chef and owner Utku Cinel opened there in 2017.

AZTECH OUTERWEAR OPENS ON HUDSON
Sonia Stock gave me the heads up that a new outerwear store has opened in the old Shoefly space on Duane Park. More on them soon when we have a chance to chat.

NAYA OPENS IN BROOKFIELD
A. caught a new addition to Hudson Eats — Naya is Middle Eastern counter food with things like chicken shawarma, lamb kebabs, flatbreads and all those good fixins that go with it. This is their seventh location in the city and there’s one in Philly. It’s in the far corner, behind Black Seed Bagels.

BODY ROLL STUDIO MOVES TO BEACH
This is looking pretty good to me right now. Body Roll Studio moved its first location from 59 Franklin to 57 Beach. They have another West Village location, two in Miami and one in Greenwich.
