Children’s toy and clothing store to open on Greenwich and Warren

Two Kids and A Dog, a new toy store in Dumbo, is opening another location here at 275 Greenwich in the former Poke Green space (and before that, Bitz Kids).

The management company, Manhattan Skyline, got in touch with me and said they are set to open in early December.

The store was founded by retail veteran Natalia Jacobs and her designer husband Kip Jacobs and carries all kinds of children’s merchandise including clothing, shoes, toys, gifts, accessories and gear. The original shop in Dumbo was named for Jacobs’ — you guessed it — two children and dog.

We have lost a couple children’s stores lately (Polarn O. Pyret, Egg by Susan Lazar, the Brookfield Babesta), so this will join other kids toys and clothing stores Babesta (on Warren), Boomerang, Koh’s Kids, Balloon Saloon, Everafter, My Little Sunshine, Jacadi, Livly and Playing Mantis.
