Seen & Heard: Parks in winter

PARKS ARE JUST AS NICE IN WINTER
It’s actually a pleasure to be on Little Island with none of the summer crowds. And Signe Nielsen’s plantings have their own texture in hibernation. I used to take my kids to the Bronx Zoo in winter, when there are 400 visitors a day vs 40,000 in summer — and that is not an exaggeration.

Hopefully this means the wine bar is not far behind…

THIS NEVER GETS OLD
I can watch these guys dance all day long. The best part is when they all cheer — even though they can’t hear each other. *Sound on.*
