You may have followed the efforts of + POOL to find a spot to float: they now have a “notice to proceed with due diligence” on the project in the waters just north of the Manhattan Bridge. “We have been working on a very complicated series of next steps ever since and hope to bring a pilot facility to New Yorkers very soon.”

BPC ADULT CHORUS SEEKING VOICES
The Battery Park City Adult Chorus, sponsored by Church Street School for Music & Art, is seeking new members. The group meets every Wednesday from 1 to 2p at Church Street School at 41 White. No audition or prior choral experience necessary and it’s free to join. Safe COVID singing protocols are practiced. CHASE BRANCH CLOSED FOR VACCINE MANDATE
J. noticed that the Chase branch on Church and Worth is temporarily closed, and the sign says “due to the mandate.” It seems the bank is reshuffling employees around the city to comply with the mandate. Here’s the response from corporate: “Most of our New York City branches are open as usual though a small portion are temporarily closed as we comply with New York City’s COVID-19 workplace vaccination order.”

MULBERRY & VINE CLOSED TILL JAN. 10
A few spots have decided to wait out this latest wave of omicron. Can’t blame them. Mulberry & Vine is closed till Jan. 10.
