Seen & Heard: It’s Restaurant Week all month!

RESTAURANT WEEK HAS BEGUN
NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2022, which started Tuesday and runs through Sunday, Feb. 13, has a 13 local restaurants participating. Tribeca Grill and Batard will offer a three-course dinner for $59, for example; check the website here to see what these restaurants are offering: Anejo Tribeca, Gran Morsi, Khe-Yo, The Palm Tribeca, Sarabeth’s Tribeca, Tamarind Tribeca, Tiny’s & The Bar Upstairs, Thalassa, Marathi, American Cut and Yves.

SOHO PHOTO ONLINE AUCTION
Soho Photo Gallery has an online auction benefit up till Jan. 23 of photos donated by current and former members of the gallery, which was founded by NY Times photogs 50 years ago. The photos are on display at the gallery; link here to the auction site.

URGENT CALL FOR BLOOD DONORS
There’s a citywide blood shortage, and the BPCA is hosting a blood drive today, Jan. 19, from noon to 6p at 6 River Terrace on the ground floor. Make an appointment — walk-ins are only allowed if room capacity and appointment scheduling permits.

HOLY WATER ON READE
No details yet, but it looks like the Grand Banks crew’s new bar at the former Holy Ground space underneath Bluestone Lane will be called Holy Water. Odd coincidence with the name, but as far as I know, there’s no connection.
