HOCKEY STAR AT 443 GREENWICH
The WSJ reports that New York Rangers player Jacob Trouba paid $6.7 million for a unit at the celebrity dorm, 443 Greenwich. Fun fact: “He bought the unit from Stuart and Anneliese Grimshaw, according to public records. Mr. Grimshaw is a former field hockey player who represented New Zealand in the 1984 Olympics.”

FIDI HOLIDAY INN FOR SALE
Crain’s reports that the Holiday Inn at 99 Washington at Rector is facing foreclosure. “The hotel, which at 50 stories is the most altitudinous in the company’s portfolio, is up for grabs again four years and one pandemic after its owner, Chinese developer Jubao Xie, tried to sell it in 2017…Three loans tied to the property haven’t been paid since August 2020, according to data from Trepp. By December 2020, the building was one of the most distressed hotels in New York City, as it was more than 90 days delinquent on $87 million in debt.”

RYAN REYNOLDS WEARING…BLUE
The fact that Ryan Reynolds was walking through Tribeca in a navy blue puffer coat was enough of a reason for Esquire to write a story on the color and his fit, and enough for me to mention it here.

  2. I’ve seen Ryan and Blake hanging out at Pier 26 /Hudson River Park in the warmer months. No memory of their clothing ensembles though.
