Lunar New Year celebrations around the neighborhood

The Lunar New Year celebration starts tomorrow, but there are events all month. I am sure I am missing some, but here’s a start. NB: Public schools are closed Tuesday for the holiday.

BROOKFIELD PLACE LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
Feb. 3 to 5
In partnership with the New York Chinese Cultural Center, Brookfield Place will host a multi-day celebration featuring live ice carving, kids crafts, and surprise performances. Eight intricately carved ice sculptures depicting Lunar New Year symbols and characters will be on display throughout the Waterfront Plaza.
