Seen & Heard: Manhatta has reopened

MANHATTA HAS RETURNED
Danny Meyer’s Manhatta — on the 60th floor of 28 Liberty — reopened for two years to the day (I am guessing) that it closed for the pandemic Thursday, March 17, for dinner and drinks. Reservations available, walk-ins welcomed and encouraged. (These are my shots from January 15, 2020.)

NFTs FOR UKRAINE
Nina Levent, one of the owners of Sapar Contemporary, the gallery on N. Moore, is Ukrainian — with much of her family in Ukraine — so the gallery has collaborated with ONBD Gallery and DoinGud Gallery to support Ukraine with a sale of NFTs. “A Call for Love” collection features creators from around the world who have crafted artworks to support social causes that provide aid to Ukraine. The sale of some of the works in the gallery’s current exhibit will also go to support Ukraine. Find the collection here. It will be live for the next two days.

SIDEWALK CAFE FOR L’ABEILLE
L’Abeille, the French restaurant coming to Greenwich in the old Dig Inn space, went back to CB1’s Licensing Committee to secure a straight-up sidewalk café (vs a curbside space). They asked for seating for 12 tables set up on Greenwich to be accessible till 12a on the weekends and 11p on the weekdays. They got a letter of support from the condo board.
