Seen & Heard: Taste is this weekend

TASTE IS THIS SATURDAY
In case you missed it, Taste of Tribeca is scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 11:30a to 3p, and they have 50 local restaurants signed up. Early bird tickets are $55 or four for $200 and available till May 20. Day of is $65. There are also premium tables that come with runners if you want to make a party out of it: $700 for four or $1000 for six. Tickets are here.

THE MAYOR WILL SPEAK AT PACE
Eric Adams is scheduled to be the Pace commencement speaker today (to be held at the USTA tennis center in Flushing) and will receive an honorary doctorate. Queens Congresswoman Grace Meng and finance and philanthropy leader Baroness Ariane de Rothschild, a Pace alumna, will also be recognized at the university’s first in-person commencement in three years,

CHURCH STREET ‘HAPPENING’ SET FOR JUNE 5
Church Street School will host its annual block party on Sunday, June 5, from noon to 4p, on White Street between Church and Franklin Place. Entry is free. The day will include communal art activities, workshops, performances, food and drinks and a whole live music line up. Email betsy@churchstreetschool.org to volunteer or partner.

CLEAN UP IN CITY HALL PARK
The Friends of City Hall Park will host its It’s My Park Day on Saturday, May 21, from 9a to 2p. RSVP to volunteer for gardening or for clean up. Vaccination & mask required. info@cityhallparknyc.org
