CLIPPER CITY TALL SHIP IS SAILING AGAIN
The Howard Hughes Corporation’s Manhattan by Sail trips are back at the Seaport after nine years, leaving from Pier 17 in a newly renovated sailboat – the Clipper City Tall Ship. There are daily sails and private charters. The ship is a replica of the lumber-hauling schooners that drove America’s industry more than a century ago and was built mid-1980s using plans purchased from the Smithsonian. With a length of 158 feet and masts rising 100 feet, the sailboat can comfortably accommodate 149 passengers, the most of any passenger sailboat in the United States.

  1. Hi..

Thank you for the HH Clipper update! We’ve always loved that beautiful boat.

Booked it for tonight as relatively clear / good weather

Just wanted you to know there was no option to type in exactly where I heard about it from else would have given credit to Tribeca Citizen (They only offered a few specific and some generic choices / I chose online)..

    Thanks again!

  2. I played here once and it was a vibe!
