Seen & Heard: 86 Warren is coming along

WARREN STREET HOTEL CLOSING IN
I have never had much success getting in touch with Firmdale Hotels, which is building the Warren Street Hotel at 86 Warren, but clearly things are moving along. The windows have been going in over this month, and they look very cool but you will definitely need curtains. The building was topped out ages ago and they are now completing the exterior on the east side.

JACKIE ROBINSON MUSEUM IS OPEN
When I did this post, they said the museum was opening in September, but it turns out it is already open to the public at 75 Varick and Canal. Hours are Thursdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pre-registration is required at www.jackierobinsonmuseum.org. Admission is $18 for adults and $15 for seniors and students.

NEW SHOW ON BIG BUILDINGS AT SKYSCRAPER MUSEUM
The Skyscraper Museum at 39 Battery Place in BPC has a new show called Residential Rising, which revirews the buildings that now house the downtown population, which doubled in 20 years. The show analyzes and visualizes the change in the skyline. Admission is free but timed tickets are required. Through January 2023.

THINKING AHEAD
P & T caught sight of something scary: Blood Manor is already getting ready for the spooky season.
