DANCE PARTY IN DUANE PARK
This Thursday, the Duane Park Summer Music Series will continue with a DJ dance party with Ray Rubio and Nate Christensen, from 6:30 to 8p.
AZABU WILL OPEN NEXT WEEK
Sushi Azabu will reopen on Tuesday, August 23, with a renovated interior on both floors. More here when I can get over there.
SOPHIE’S COMING TO BROADWAY & WORTH
J. spotted the signs for a branch of Sophie’s Cuban — a downtown original — coming to the southwest corner of Broadway and Worth, the old ‘Wichcraft space. More on that when they open. ‘Wichcraft closed both of its Tribeca locations in December 2020, and Sophie’s closed its Chambers Street location in August 2020.
BOOK NOOK OPENING IN PARK SLOPE
Book Nook Enrichment, the reading and learning space on Warren and Church, is opening its fourth location in Park Slope this fall. (In addition to Tribeca, they have a location at Lincoln Center and the UWS.) They will be taking enrollment there soon; get more info by emailing parkslope@booknooknyc.com.
