Seen & Heard: Fouquet’s New York is open

FOUQUET’S NEW YORK IS OPEN
The new hotel at 456 Greenwich opened officially yesterday. More soon when I can get up there. There are two restaurants — Par Ici Cafe and Brasserie Fouquet’s New York — and a bar on the ground floor. More details here.

THE TIN BUILDING’S NEW HOURS
The Tin Building, which opened to the public in mid-August, now has extended hours: Friday and Saturday, 10a to 8:30p, and Sunday 10a to 5p.

LITTLE AMAL AT SEAPORT + BPC
A 12-foot animated puppet is making the rounds downtown today, visiting the South Street Seaport Museum at 2, and the Rockefeller Park south lawn at 7:30. She is a representation of a 10-year-old Syrian girl, and has been created to highlight the urgent needs of migrants and refugees. She will make appearances around the city all weekend.

YARD SALE AT CHATHAM GREEN
The residents of Chatham Green, the three-building complex at Park Row and Worth, are holding a giant yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 11a to 5p. The rain date is Sunday.
