Exercise studio for women coming to Hudson and Thomas

More when I get in touch, but in the meantime, N. noticed that The Lotus Method, an exercise routine and setting for pre- and post-partum women, has taken the former J. Crew space at 50 Hudson and Thomas.

(The building is under construction while they add two floors to the roof.)

The company was founded in 2014 in San Francisco by Catilin Ritt (assuming it is actually Caitlin, but this is pasted from the website) who had worked with hundreds of pre- and post-natal clients at Equinox. She trains her staff to address specific considerations (pelvic floor, diastasis recti, incontinence, aches and pains and more) as well as emotional support.

N. noted that this is the fourth workout studio in a one-block radius: “That area’s really becoming a hub, between Orange Theory, Core Power Yoga and Yoga Spark.” (I think they should have taken the beautiful Outer Reach space on Greenwich…)
