Seen & Heard: Final days of the Mmuseumm

MMUSEUMM WRAPPING UP FOR 2022
The Mmuseumm is open just through mid-November, Fridays & Saturdays 11a to 6p, so last chance to see this diminutive museum till next year’s installation. However, Mmuseumm 2 is the annex to Mmuseumm, and the programming there rotates. Right now there is a LLIBRARYY open to the public organized by the non-profit 10X10 Photobooks. It’s a collection of recent photobooks from around the world, not by men.

FALL FEST AT CITY HALL PARK
The City Hall Park Conservancy will hold a bulb planting event on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 10a to 1p, on the northeast section of the park. Cider and donuts provided. At 10a, the Urban Park Rangers will host a fall art project. Bring a T-shirt to print on. At 11a, join wild foods author Marie Viljoen on a botanical walk around the park and discover the edible urban forest hiding in plain sight, including the stinky fruit of the ginkgo tree. There will also be a fall-themed book reading by the New York Public Library for children.

TABI HALY RELEASES ALBUM
Singer-songwriter and disability rights activist Tabi Haly just released her second album, and celebrated its release at 135 Reade, where the bartenders created special cocktails named after the songs (and her pup). The album is called Stance, and you can listen on Spotify, Apple Music, etc.
