Seen & Heard: Lekka Burger adding a new location

LOCAL NEW KID EXPANDING
Lekka Burger, the vegan burger joint from Michelin-starred chef Amanda Cohen, will be opening a second location later this month at the Urbanspace food hall at 570 Lex between 50th and 51st, the General Electric Building. Lekka opened here on Warren in November 2019, with plans then to expand.

SOHO CULTURE WALK
The SoHo Arts Network will host a self-guided Downtown Culture Walk on Saturday, Oct. 29, from noon to 6p highlighting the non-profit art spaces in SoHo and Tribeca. Walkthroughs, open hours,and other programming will be offered throughout the day for free or reduced admission. Participating SAN members include apexart; CIMA – Center for Italian Modern Art; Grey Art Gallery, New York University; Judd Foundation; Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art; The Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof Foundation; Soho Photo Gallery; Swiss Institute; The Drawing Center; and The Renee & Chaim Gross Foundation. UPS STORE ON CANAL HAS MOVED…TO CANAL
The UPS store on West Broadway just north of Canal has moved around the corner — on block east — to 393 Canal at Sixth Ave.

WHAT’S OLD IS NEW AGAIN
Not exactly sure why I found this so exciting — I guess because I thought they didn’t make them like they used to? New hatch!
