PAINT JOB FOR 24 MURRAY
B. and K. both send pics of 27 Park Place / 24 Murray / 111 Church getting painted recently. We all thought it was light blue, but now it looks white? Either way, we were all three disappointed — it was looking so handsome in its restored brick state…

TRUFFLES TRIBECA IS NEARING COMPLETION
The building formerly known as Truffles Tribeca (now 450 Washington) (see the building in 2018 below) is nearing completion — looking forward to no more sidewalk bridge, and hopefully some activated retail. More details here…

  1. The 450 reno is a step up, but it’s still a pretty ugly building. The massing, window alignment/style, color—it’s all just off to me. Very bland. But of course the views + terraces and location are phenomenal.

Definitely excited for Greca to be freed of the sidewalk shed though. And hopefully something decent comes into the old Fika space. I’ve noticed some Big Gay Ice Cream pushcarts being stored in there. Maybe that’s on the horizon?
