TAKE A SEAT AT CITY HALL PARK
City Hall Park Conservancy has taken a week-long contract with ACE, the folks that set up Bogardus Plaza’s seating area, to create a seating area inside the south gates 9a to 5p through Nov. 14. The City Hall Park Conservancy purchased the tables and chairs and will keep them in the shed for future events, but the contract with ACE requires $1000 a week — so this will be a trial. If it’s successful, they will fundraise to expand the dates.

CHANGING OF THE GUARD AT SOHO REP
Earlier this fall, Sarah Benson, an artistic director of Soho Rep for the past 15 years, announced that she would step down at the close of this current season. Meropi Peponides, at Soho Rep since 2014, will depart as well. The theater company is seeking a new ED.

ELECTION DAY ART & PLAY TODAY

BEACH LOVERS AT SOHO PHOTO
Soho Photo Gallery will host a show of photos by Erica Reade and celebrate her new book called “Beach Lovers” this week through Nov. 14. The opening reception is Nov. 10 from 6 to 9. The show will have images from the eight years of this series, an artist talk and book signing, and a workshop.
