Here goes: the 2022 Shop-Local Gift Guide. I went to every store in the neighborhood — and each time took a wingwoman, carefully chosen to lend her good taste and keen shopping instincts. Denise Williamson’s boutique showcases unique brands, designers and objects on a rotating basis similar to an art gallery. More soon from her new home goods collection.

AZTECH MOUNTAIN
Tribeca born and owned designer shop with truly unique ski togs for men and women.
••• We went with a his/hers thing with the Loge Peak Ski Shirt, named after a run at Aspen. The women’s is a hoodie. $425
••• What more to say: a down and recycled mink reversible vest, with handpainted flowers on the fur side. In four colors. $4900

EMILIA GEORGE
The maternity boutique, the new brick and mortar for a brand founded here, also caters to the post-partum lifestyle.
••• A curated gift box: we chose the EG robe ($96), a candle for a sweet tooth ($38), the vitamin patches ($20) and lip balm ($14).
••• The Inez sweater pant ($185) and Renee cardi ($225) are not just for moms-to-be.

CYNTHIA ROWLEY
The designer has converted the front of her showroom and office to retail and an exposion of color.

The husband and wife team behind Intermix, Haro and Sari Sloane Keledjian launched the California inspired boutique in 2017. (Plus we love the gals there.)

The land of the $100 T-shirt and $1000 T-shirt has something for everyone. But truly — the shop has up-and-coming designers that only the well-informed have heard of.
••• Each of these 19-69 scents is named for an obscure reference for the hardcore rock nerd. The Rolling Stones recorded “Exile on Main St.” in the basement of Villa Nellcôte (and then Keith Richards was kicked out of the country for trafficking cannabis). $195
••• These caught our eye, and the price tag blinded us: Chrome Hearts sunglasses with naughty names like Honey Tunnel, Lick-n and Cock a Roach. $1600 – $2495

165 Hudson, entrance on Laight
Tribecan Al Abayan’s jewel box of a store carries The Soloist along with his other curated fashion finds. It’s a revelation. But for now, a shoutout to the archive sale going on online from his first Tribeca store, Number (N)ine. There are some finds.

The new addition to West Broadway out of Argentina is unisex all things wool and linen.
The Chacani merino throw, but worn as a poncho. Add a belt. $340

It’s worth visiting just to see the art installations in the dressing rooms. There’s a 3D octopus!
