WARREN KING AT PEARL RIVER MART
Tribecan Warren King will have an exhibit of his genius cardboard sculptures starting Jan. 12 through April 23 titled “Our Roots Run Deep: Finding Home in Chinatown.” More TK on that when I can get over to see the show. More info here and tickets for the opening night are here.

CHINESE NEW YEAR PARADE SET FOR FEB. 12
The Chinese New Year Parade and Festival organized by is Sunday, February 12, 2023. The parade kicks off at 1p. This year will be the parade’s 25th anniversary. 2023 is the year of the rabbit.

LUNAR NEW YEAR PARTY AT PS 150
PS 150 will host a Lunar New Year Celebration on Sunday, Jan. 8, from noon to 3p, at the new school building at 28-42 Trinity Place. It is open to the public. Tickets are $20 for kids and $25 for adults. Kids under 3 are free. Sugar painting, lion dances, arts activities and other performances are included. Get tickets here.

CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT MAPS FINAL FINAL
The NYC Districting Commission just finalized the borders for the city’s City Council districts. Nothing much changed for all of us in Tribeca and Fidi, but publishing here just for the record. You can find the maps here online.
