Man mugs woman on Leonard on New Year’s Day

The NYPD has the surveillance video above of a man mugging a woman in front of 88 Leonard — near NY Kids Club between Church and Broadway — on Jan. 1 at 2p. He took her purse and dragged her to the ground in the process. The victim is 76 and a longtime Tribeca resident.

There is a reward for tips up to $3500 with the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers. Call 800-577-TIPS or anonymously post a tip on the website crimestoppers.nypdonline.org.

    Does anybody know if they found this guy? I live around the corner so it is very disturbing to see this happen in broad daylight and with other people around.
