THE WHITNEY ALBUM AT SOHO REP

The show is up through July 2, Tuesdays through Sundays at 7:30p with a Saturday matinee at 3p. The work started out as a meditation on Whitney Houston’s life and death and has expanded and grown into an amazing collection of original songs and scenes that celebrate the work of Black women. The Whitney Album features original live music that will vary night by night and the piece will be encountered as a play, a concert and a unique community experience.
