COMPLETE PLAYGROUND WILL OPEN IN AUGUST
The Complete Playground, a non-profit indoor play space that is based on an inclusion model to accommodate all kids but especially those on the autism spectrum, will have its soft open in August and an official opening on Sept. 9. The 40,000-square-foot space at 30 Broad in Fidi will feature all sorts of activities and classes. Fidi resident Alex Reznik, the owner of a local chain of fitness studios, has built out the “inclusive family center” in 40,000 square feet at 30 Broad just south of Wall, in what was the New York Sports Club. DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND
The Museum of Chinese in America will host a Dragon Boat Family Festival on Saturday, June 24, from 2 to 5p at 215 Centre. There will be workshops, snacks, performances, storytime and arts and crafts. More info here.
