Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery has taken the space that was Plaza M nails at 68 N. Moore, just east of Greenwich. The plan to open in October.
The business’ website says they will provide advanced dental services including root canals, jaw fractures, orthodontics, surgery for oral tumors, restorative dentistry, treatment for Feline Stomatitis — a painful swelling of the gums — and of course cleanings. More soon when I can get a tour and talk to the vets.
“We are a privately owned (no investor/no corporate) boutique specialty hospital for veterinary dentistry and oral surgery,” Jin Jung wrote in an email. “This will be the first private veterinary dentistry specialty practice with a board certified veterinary dentist and anesthesiologist in NYC. The hospital is also planning on providing other specialty services as well including cardiology and general surgery in near future.”
This will add to the neighborhood’s long-standing veterinarian businesses: Tribeca Veterinary Wellness on West Street, Worth Street Veterinary Center, and Reade Street Animal Hospital, which is now a branch of the Thrive Pet Healthcare network out of Austin, and the newest: URvet Care on Chambers. And from comments: Tribeca Soho Animal Hospital on Sixth Avenue between Spring and Prince, which was on Lispenard for years.
