FLORIST POP-UP AT FREDERICK HOTEL
The Frederick Hotel at Chambers and West Broadway is hosting a weekly flower shop pop-up in the lobby every Friday from noon to 7p. The florist is Sumika Florals, and you can email sumika@sumikaflorals.com for pre-orders or just stop by to pick up a bouquet. Originally from Tokyo, Sumika also offers flower subscriptions, special event florals or corporate flowers and weekly installations for boutique hotels, restaurants and shops.

THINKING BIGGER AT DUANE PARK
After I posted the Friends of Duane Park’s plans to expand the park a bit to the south, J. sent this rendering of what the park could look like if the southern branch of Duane Street was absorbed into parkland. Just what I was saying!!
