Sneak Peek: Paros Tribeca

Photos by Rose Yardeni

The renovation of one of the lovelier spaces in the neighborhood — 211 West Broadway, formerly Chela, formerly American Whiskey aka Distilled — is coming along nicely. It’s hard to tell the layout just yet (I hope the bar is still in the southwest corner) but I love the grasscloth treatment on the ceiling and the lighting. That space needed a refresher.

Paros Tribeca will be a Greek seafood restaurant by former Top Chef George Pagonis and his brother Nicholas. They are shooting for a fall opening.

The space has seats for 94, with another 15 at the bar (with its great light and Tribeca views) and outdoor seating on the raised loading platform that is within the property line with about 20 seats. The hours will be 11:30a to midnight Monday to Saturday and Sunday to 10p. More TK.
