The City Hall Park Conservancy is starting a new series of Saturday morning volunteering in the park every second Saturday of the month as of Oct. 14. The first one will begin at 9a meeting at the Warren Street gate and the ongoing free t’ai chi will take place later that morning at 11a. There is also a new map on the website that will eventually be printed and posted at the entry gates.

  1. Re Asphalt Green, they’ve also just added a slew of fitness classes aimed at the 65+ crowd too, including Zumba, barre, yoga, HIIT camp, total body, and stretch classes.

You don’t have to be a member to take classes there — they sell class packs that work out to $15 – $20/class, depending on what size pack you buy.

  2. Re: cocoon. Do they have a right to commander most of the side walk for their use? Isn’t their “patio” our sidewalk?
