HALLOWEEN STORYTIME AT BOGARDUS
Book Nook will host a Halloween storytime in Bogardus Plaza this Sunday, Oct. 29, from 10:30 to 11:30. There will also be arts and crafts. More info here.

BLACK COTTON CANDY AT ARLO HOTEL
The Arlo SoHo on Hudson and Canal will be serving free black cotton candy with a Museum of Ice Cream Pop-Up in the hotel lobby on Friday, October 27, from 1 – 4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

FREE MARGARITAS AT EL VEZ FOR COSTUMED GUESTS
El Vez in BPC will offer free Choco Tacos for kids and free margaritas for adults who arrive in costume on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 11am to 1pm. NB: *limited quantities available on the tacos! No purchase is necessary.

Battery Park City will host stories and singalongs featuring award winning children’s performer Suzi Shelton on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2p, at Teardrop Park.

TALK ON SCHINDLER’S LIST 30TH ANNI
The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust will host a panel discussion to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s seminal film “Schindler’s List” on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 3-4:30p. The panel will discuss how the Oscar-winning movie has contributed to the evolution of Holocaust history and memory, how cultural institutions and films continue to preserve survivor stories, as well as question what still remains to be done.

SINISTER SECRETS OF THE SEAPORT
The South Street Seaport Museum is hosting 90-minute walking tours of the area called “Sinister Secrets of the Seaport,” unravelling the darker past of the historic district. Upcoming dates are October 28, 29, 30, November 5, 12, 29. Registration is required. Content is appropriate for fans of true crime stories, those who are looking for unique New York experience, and history-buffs ages 13 and up. Tickets are $40 for adults, with discounts available for seniors, students and youth.
