In the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel, Frozen Empire, NYC freezes over in July, and not even the GB HQ on N. Moore is spared. The new villain is the Death Chill, which kills from fear alone. Release date is for March 2024.

BAR 135 EXHIBITS KIDS ART
Bar 135, the former Reade Street Pub, is now showing monthly art exhibits, and this upcoming month will feature the art of children from across the city (and even one from Europe) on the topic of joy. The exhibit opens Nov. 20 and stay up till Feb. 4, with an opening reception on Dec. 2, and the work is for sale. This is the bar’s third exhibit, all of which have been organized by artist, art advisor and Tribecan Maria Yoon; previous themes were Alchemy and Abundance.

INDIAN LITERARY FESTIVAL AT THE CONRAD
The Indo-American Arts Council, run by Battery Park City resident Suman Gollamudi, will host its Literary Festival on Nov. 18 and 19 at the Conrad New York Downtown. This year’s festival will feature more than 60 books and include Jose Thomas, recipient of IAAC’s 2023 Trail Blazer Award; Pulitzer Prize winner Vijay Seshadri; National Book Award finalist Sarah Thankam Mathews; Grammy-nominated artist, humanitarian, and author Chandrika Tandon and the accomplished actor and Lambda Literary Award winner, Maulik Pancholy. OPEN STUDIOS ON BROADWAY
The artists at 368 and 373 Broadway are organizing an afternoon of open studios on Saturday Nov. 18 from 12 to 6p for the first time in over five years. There will also be interactive workshops and demonstrations. Register and see more information here.
